Halyard Bend

Halyard Bend is a RD515 family project built in 1985. This was an acquisition-rehabilitation project of an existing complex, comprised of 6 apartment buildings and an office/laundry building, located on approximately 4 acres. There are 8 one-bedroom and 40 two-bedroom units for a total of 48 units. All units have balconies or patios and outside storage.

Halyard Bend Apartments is located at 3941 Halyard Way, Myrtle Beach SC 29579.  The property is conveniently located of Forrest Brook Rd, a mile from Hwy 501, at the edge of the Cypress Creek community.  The surrounding neighbourhood consists of a nice mixture of both single-family and multi-family properties with primary retail and professional services nearby.

The target population for all 48 units is at 30% or less of AMI.  All 48 units now have project-based USDA-Rural Development rental assistance.  Tenant portion of the rent is calculated at 30% of their adjusted monthly income.
