Housing Authority of Myrtle Beach Updated Payment Standards

HUD has given the Housing Authority of Myrtle Beach a waiver that allows the Rent Payment Standard (RPS) to go to 120% of the Fair Market Rent (FMR) for the Myrtle Beach-North Myrtle Beach-Conway, SC HUD Metro FMR Area

Gross rent is the Contract Rent plus the average cost of utilities the tenant pays.  If rent plus utilities is less than the RPS the tenant only pays 30% of their adjusted monthly income for rent.

In addition The Housing  Authority has adopted the Small Area Fair Market Rent (SAFMR) for any zip code that has a higher base line FMR.
